    I went today, it was terrifying, but the upshot is that the idiot from 1988 was wrong, and that I will never go blind from this syndrome like my dad and that my vision is "better " than 20/20 and my eyes are healthy and normal. Just dry ,but he said that can be managed

    Thank you so much for your help, I was so scared, but faced it.

    Today started as the most terrifying day of my life ,but finished off being the best day, and of course straight after I went and bought myself presents
