Not too hard or too scary. Just don't like to ask for help. I have also been through systems and they let you down.

I understand. Your parents have not helped you, professionals have not helped, systems have not helped. What kind of systems are these, like protection services?? Are you under 18 Truetomyself?

I see.... What are the systems you talk about and how did they let you down? (I’m not judging you at all, I just want to get a better sense of your life)

Why doesn't anyone listen? I talk to my doctor. I try and tell family. No one is listening to me. I feel my body getting weak and tired. I have no energy. I am struggling.

Truetomyself, do you feel we are listening to you on this forum? It’s okay to be honest...

You are exhausted. You’ve said you need help but that you don’t like to ask for help. Petal is right - the doctors/anyone you talk to can’t help if you don’t tell them what’s going on like you told us. If it’s a matter of speaking the words maybe a letter could help as suggested...

what did the doctor do last time, any of the following: medication? Referral to a psychologist?

I spent time in hospital. I have a social worker helping. I couldn't do it on my own anymore. I am now in a place away from my parent's. Meds were changed and now I feel more positive. I am glad I called triple 0.

    Hi TTM

ditto to what petal said- good on you for seeking help. I hope your social worker is good, and that between him/her and the forums you get support. I look forward to hearing from you - I know that with depression and especially the disregard for your feelings that your parents give you, it is hard to get the motivation to post to forums; but if you can, we would love to hear from you and be someone in your life and help in any way we can....

    Hi TTM,

being human and having dealt with a lot of pain in life, nothing is abnormal... Your psyche is trying to cope with change and hurt and isolation... You cry if you need to... We all cry sometimes, if we are honest with ourselves.

How long have you been at the new place now? How are you?

    thinking of you 🤗

Thank you Petal. I don't have any friends and because I don't work I have no colleagues I can talk to. I am really frightened, I am worried and get anxious about leaving the house. There is no one, not even in my family, that understands. It's really hard. When you can't see something, no one believes you.

    Hi Truetomyself,

    Thats ok 😊

Do you think you could manage to visit your gp? Or even have a gp appointment over the phone?

It must be really difficult for you I understand it would be hard……

I believe you and I understand how it feels to be suffering with a mental health condition….. when I was in the grips of OCD I was very scared…….. I was highly anxious my anxiety would tell me not to go outside the house but I thought to Myself I’m not going to let this beat me…. I decided to face it head on…….. it did take a lot of perseverance and courage to defy my anxiety but I did it and I believe it’s in you too …… your so much stronger than you think……..❤️

You could start small if you want to step out side for 5 minutes then set a new goal for longer periods of time…

I think people who haven’t experienced mental health conditions can’t really understand what we are going through unless they have been through it themselves we can only hope that they try to understand……..

Im always here, your not alone

They are taking me off medication. I am struggling with my anxiety. I am struggling with my agrophobia. I wish I didn't have to deal with it on daily basis. I don't feel myself at all.
