I have nobody left that cares about me. In the last year I have lost my wife due to a car accident. My daughter who was only three died of cancer fifteen days ago.

I have had a military career where I have been in Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan.

I have a very different perspective of life from most people and can't really relate to most people.

what do you think about ringing Beyond Blue 24/7 hotline where you are able to talk to a fully trained counsellor.

Also I would encourage you to keep posting threads on this forum so we can keep in touch and encourage you on this very difficult journey,

    All the best.

Thank you both for replying and your kind words. I have done good but many bad things through my service. I suppose this is all karma. I should be all alone and be without loved ones.

    Hi There again,

I have been thinking about what you said in your last thread.

We all have done good things and bad thing in our lives,

This does not mean we should or deserve to be alone.

Reaching out like you are gives me the feeling you do not want to be alone is this correct??

What are your thoughts on visiting your GP and enquiring about grief counselling as suggested by Grandy. This is not a sign of weakness but rather it is a sign of true strength and courage.

Please remember we are here to walk this journey with you and to give you all the support and friendship we can through this thread.

    All the best my Friend.

I thank you for your response, and while I don't have a GP. I did try and get some grief counseling but it did not really come of anything. They told me I should talk to veterans affairs for counseling. Who in turn told me to seek out the first person I contacted.

I had my daughter cremated today. Not sure what one is supposed to do with ashes? For my wife I sent them back to the Mother in Law.

    Hello LiquidRegret...

Im so deeply sorry...today must have been an extremely hard day for you..My heart goes out to you...

Please LR....You’re hurting really bad..and I’m concerned for you...Do you think you could find a GP..and talk to him/her about what’s happening in your life...A gp might be able to help you...Please you don’t have to try to manage this extremely sad time on your own...

Im not sure about your precious daughters ashes...I think that is a personal thing...but I have heard of people making a little fairy garden in honour of their child...Some where where you can go and sit down, light a candle for her...and remember the beautiful times you had together...

Im deeply sorry if I have said wrong...It’s out of my concern for you that I want to try to help you...

If it’s okay I would like to send you a warm hug...

I know nothing I could ever say will take your immense pain away...Please know that we are here if you need to talk..

    Grandy...

    Hi there,

I have been reading your thread and my heart goes out to you at this moment.

You said you had no joy with counselling or no Doctor.

What do you think of the idea of finding a local Doctor and there should be other counselling services you may contact. Just reaching out to us tells me you do want to go through this alone and I would be honoured to walk this journey with you and help in any small way I can.

    please keep in touch.
