We hope our community can be a positive and safe space for you to continue to talk through any difficult thoughts and feelings. Hi Lynne,

Pinned threads help us ensure certain threads remain at the top of a section and often contain information regarding the subject matter and guidelines for posting in particular areas of the forum. We may also pin threads that have generated a lot of discussion to assist members with navigating certain sections.

    Hi Lynne,

Thanks for your question. No, we will always send you a notification to let you know if your post has not been published and why. I have checked and all your posts that have come through our system today have been approved. Is it possible that there was an error with your computer and your response was never submitted?

    Take care, Sophie M.

    Dear Lynne

To the best of my knowledge notifications are as normal. On occasions the internet has eaten one of my posts, without a trace. This may have happened to you. I suggest you report your own post immediately above and ask about the missing post.

Hi Sophie_M, can you please explain why it's so difficult to get back to the online forums once you have posted a reply, it's changed.

    Best wishes.

Hi Sophie_M, I now know you can press 'forums' just above the name of the thread but surely there could be something that's more visible and much simpler.

    Hi croix

It showed the thing that after you press reply that says it needs to be checked first. So that makes sense the internet ate it just like when an email seems to go in limbo land.

Hi Lynne, thanks for your question. The ‘new’ bubble that appears refers to new posts that have been made since you were last on the forums. This will only pertain to threads that you have previously read/clicked on.

Hi Bernie72. I'm with you and as I am no spring chicken I'm finding this technology all very frustrating. Feeling totally down in the dumps at the mo. Not good I guess for the 1st day of new year. My Doc passed away four months ago and I feel I have no where to turn and can't figure all this tech stuff out.

    Dear Tweak~

Welcome here to hte Support Forum. I agree at the start it seems confusing, hte trick is not to worry too much, it will sort out.

The main idea is you have our won 'thread' which you give a name others can see -and will understand your main topic. One can put htat new thread in one of many places, depression, Anxiety, .. and so on.

If you go to the stat of htis thread (one page one) you will see how to make a thread. In the meantime if you get stuck simply sing out here.

Losing your doctor is a terrible upheaval, and at the moment I'm sure you will think there will never be a complete substitute. I've felt that way too when mine retired, however I've managed since then and have found one who is sensible, and competent in other ways too.

Not being a spring chicken is not all bad you know. True technology can be a hassle, but your years of experience in life is more important - and more useful

We will look out for your new thread

    Croix

    Hello Tweak

I am no spring chicken either and Croix (above) is spot on when he mentioned that 'it takes time' as well as posting your own thread so you can have the more replies that suit your own situation

Note: There is no such thing as a 'dumb question' on the forums Tweak...there is no judgement here

If you have any questions please do let us know and we can help out

    Paul

Hi. I haven't been on BB for some time and cannot see how I can make a post myself. How do I create a post? I have suffered anxiety all my life and recently have suffered severe anxiety dreams which make me feel awful when I wake up. Please tell me how to make my own post.

Croix, I still cannot find any way to post a new post myself. My problem is bad anxiety dreams which make me wake up feeling terrible. I'd like to know if anyone else has this problem but this website is awful. Why is there not just a button for "new post"?

    Hi Lori44

I'm sorry to hear you are suffering from anxiety, it must be so uncomfortable to wake up feeling that way. I'm glad you are seeking support here, hopefully others who share similar experiences can provide you with some support.

On Page 1 of all the posts in this FAQ thread, you will find the very first post, which contains instructions about how to make a new thread and lots of other helpful information.
