Exams can be super stressful and it is normal to think about failing exams and being worried about that. It's understandable that it can be scary right now as your future lies ahead of you. Please also remember that you are young and that you have your whole life ahead of you. You will have time to make mistakes and there is no human life without mistakes. Suffering is suffering. We can compare ourselves to anyone and always find someone who has it worse than us. If something is important to you than it is important to you and you can only accurately compare yourself with yourself. It would be lovely if you could find your way back to reading, even if it's for a little bit at a time. It sounds like it gave you so much.
